Ready. Set. Easter.
Easter is a lovely time of year. It means different things to different people but the thing we can all surely agree on is the delight it brings to little ones. Chocolate, the Easter bunny, egg hunts, fluffy chicks, and Easter bonnets – it’s a time to smile over innocence and bring friends and family together.
Any excuse for a big meal with loved ones. Special occasions should be welcomed into our lives so we like to go the extra mile. Brunch, lunch or supper, sending out invites to your Easter meal is a really lovely touch that will be appreciated by all. Sit a candle in a twiggy nest to create a centrepiece, use palm-sized nests stashed with baby eggs on each person’s dinner plate, and create bunny ear napkin rings out of stiff jute cloth. Everyone feels warmed by nostalgia.
Let your home join in on the fun by adding some decoration over the much-awaited long weekend, or earlier if you can’t wait until then. Whether you have little people in your life or not, there’s a child inside every one of us that will find pleasure in hanging hen’s eggs from a vase of magnolia twigs or peeking a cotton bunny from behind a door. Don’t go overboard, we’re advocators of the elegant Easter.
