There's a warmth and fondness for our products from design to home and to showcase our stunning range of kitchens, furniture and home accessories, we've thoughtfully self-designed and constructed Neptune retail stores, both in the UK and in Europe. Mostly homed in quirky and characterful listed buildings, you'll find some of our stores in city-centre locations and some are a little drive out.
For us it's all in the detail, so when searching for new locations to open a store we consider the whole building architecturally, redesigning to enhance its historical bones and sometimes building from scratch. In line with our strategy for growth of our property management and expansion plan, we are now searching for a vital member to join our team.
You will be responsible for growing and managing the Neptune property portfolio; specifically, through effective acquisition and ongoing contract management. Working closely with our Retail Director, either on a full or part time basis, the Property Search and Contract Management Executive will:
- Territory map key locations to identify new prospective properties in line with our retail expansion plan
- Approach owners, tenants, landlords and agents to identify opportunities to purchase or lease
- Generate and progress leads via research, land registry searches and relationship building
- Be responsible for asset management of current buildings including lease renewals and rent reviews
You and what you need
We're on the lookout for someone who has previous experience in property acquisition and commercial relationship management, ideally with knowledge of property leases and contracts. You will be a natural self-starter with a professional, positive and confident approach when communicating, as you'll liaise with internal and external parties including Neptune directors, landlords and agents. Ideally, you'll also hold a degree within Estate and Land Management or similar and a full UK driving license as extensive travel is essential.
