In the making
Coleridge is made by a Cornish company that have been creating candles using artisan methods for more than 25 years. They use the drawing method for dinner candles like these, which involves dipping the wick into the wax repeatedly until enough layers have been built up.
A sustainable design
Not only are our making partners for Coleridge committed to keeping traditional skills alive, but they also have a mindset that looks firmly to the future. They’re almost carbon neutral, recycling wherever they can, working to look after their local wildlife, and producing their own, green energy.
The perfect pairing
Coleridge will fit into any of our candlesticks (besides Neva and Campden). To complement the traditional festive colours, we think it’s especially perfect with brass Heddon or glass Rosedale.
When it comes to smaller items, we don't hang around.
From our own, white-glove service for delivering larger pieces in the UK and Ireland, to our courier and international partners, rest assured that we’ve done everything we can to make sure your order gets to you on time and in one, perfect piece.
Delivery’s also entirely free if you’re in the UK and spend over £50 (or €100 in Ireland).
We believe that returns should be easy, which is why we approach them with a ‘no quibble’ mindset. And, you’ll also have 28 days to do so – just in case you need time to mull things over.
Just so you know
Caution never leave a burning candle unattended and keep out of reach of children and pets.
Always place candle on appropriate heat resistant base or holder on a flat stable surface, away from draughts and flammable objects. For best results burn candle 3-4 hours at a time, never move while lit or until wax hardens. Keep wick trimmed to approximately 1cm and remove wick trimmings, match stubs or any other foreign objects. Always leave at least 10cm between burning candles.
