From our own, white-glove service for delivering larger pieces in the UK and Ireland, to our courier and international partners, rest assured that we’ve done everything we can to make sure your order gets to you on time and in one, perfect piece.
Delivery’s also entirely free if you’re in the UK and spend over £50 (or €100 in Ireland).
We believe that returns should be easy, which is why we approach them with a ‘no quibble’ mindset. And, you’ll also have 28 days to do so – just in case you need time to mull things over.
When it comes to designs upholstered in a made-to-order fabric or painted in a bespoke colour, there’s also a 20% returns/cancellation fee. We’d love to not have to charge a penny for this, but as they’re made just for you, we can’t always guarantee that we’ll be able to sell them again.
If you’ve bought something from us outside the UK or Ireland, just get in touch with the store you bought it from – or with our international team if you bought it through them – and they’ll let you know how you can return or exchange it.
And talk to our international team on +44 (0)1793 427 427 or at email@example.com.

Looking after Neptune designs is easy – they won’t ask you for a lot. But, whether you’d like advice on everyday cleaning or seasonal and yearly care, you’ll find all our tips, suggestions and recommendations in our care guides.
The colours in our paint palette shown here are a close representation of their true shades, but to see the real thing, we suggest trying our sample paint pots.
A closer look at Chichester
Where the timber is painted, we’ve used tulipwood – a hardwood that has a fine grain, so it creates a smooth finish. The exposed timber top though, is oak, with all of the knots and colour variations that are part of its charm (we’ve written more about oak’s qualities here).
The finish: paint
Not every piece of furniture and every colour of paint needs the same process – a ‘one finish suits all’ approach won’t ever give you the best result possible. That’s why we vary the number of coats and use both hand-painted and spray-painted techniques depending on what that shade requires.
The finish: IsoGuard®
Chichester’s oak top is protected with IsoGuard®, our timber treatment oil that helps to prevent stains and spills from setting in, like water rings from cups without coasters. And it does all of this without masking the natural look and feel of oak like most lacquers and sealers do.
In this version of the Chichester beside cabinet (it’s also available with an open shelf), there’s a drawer and a cupboard for hiding away books and other bedside essentials. The drawer closes softly and quietly, and is deep enough to be useful. You’ll also find an adjustable shelf inside the cupboard.
When it comes to size, this is a typical bedside table: petite, so it won’t encourage clutter or make the room feel crowded, but with enough space on top to perch all the essentials: a lamp, paperback and glass of water.
The detailing on the door and drawer fronts and around each of the gently-tapered legs adds just a hint of traditional style. What’s less noticeable at first – but just as important – are aspects like the load-bearing (and attractive) zig-zag shelf supports, and the satisfying click of the chrome door catch.
