Pairing it with a candle
If you’d like to use your Corinium candlestick with one of our Blyton candles, the 7x9cm will fit perfectly on the small and the 7x15cm on the medium size.
Materials and finish
Corinium’s crackle happens when the glaze contracts more than the clay as it cools down after firing. The amount and size of the cracks is fairly uniform, but the unpredictability means that no two pieces will be quite the same.
Design inspiration
The Corinium collection was inspired by Roman pots and antique English pottery. It was designed to look like pieces you’ve collected from lots of different places. So, some have bare stone edges; some have distressing; some have antiqued crackle glaze. But they all have their own character.
Crackle glaze
Please note that the artisanal nature of Corinium’s crackle glaze can cause minor imperfections, such as the appearance of small air bubbles on the surface. These are completely natural and part of this collection’s unique charm.
