From materials to making methods
Behind the design
Thoughtful Design
It sounds obvious, but above and beyond everything else, what makes a Neptune
kitchen different is the level of thought that goes into its every inch. Know that
when you open a cabinet, the material it's made of, the hinges and handles, the
sizing and shelving, and anything that can make it work better for you will have
gone through our minds. Function alone isn't enough. We want to create kitchens
that do what you didn't even know you needed.
Dependable Materials
Timber. Natural, renewable, warm, tactile, beautiful timber. There’s something
instantly homely about a wooden kitchen. Maybe because it’s an age-old material and
one that makes you feel comfortable straight away. It’s strong, it’s dependable and
it grows old gracefully. That’s all you’ll find in your Neptune kitchen. High-grade
North American oak, tulipwood and hardwood ply (for extra strength and
reliability). Never chipboard and never MDF.
Expert joinery
Dependable materials on their own aren’t going to take care of you. Bring them
together with the right combination of traditional joinery and modern-day making
methods, and you’ll have a kitchen that’s made slowly, properly and carefully. And
we never take shortcuts. To us, every cabinet is a piece of furniture to be made as
it should be from every angle. A Neptune kitchen is made to stand the test of time.
It’s why you’ll get our lifetime guarantee if you use one of our fitters.
Built to last
Even though all four collections have a different design, all of them deserve to be
thought of as classics. Why? Because they’re less about what’s ‘trending’ and more
about the long game. A kitchen is such an investment that you want to know that
when you do go for it, it’s going to last the course.
Room for creativity
By designing classic kitchens, it means that they’re not only going to suit one
type of home. From city apartments to country cottages and modern townhouses, our
collections complement the architecture and interior design of homes in all shapes
and sizes. But Neptune kitchens are versatile in the way that you can make them
your own too. Colours light and dark, bright and pale will work, hardware in chrome
or brass, tiled or wooden floors, and a whole host of cabinetry combinations and
layouts are there to combine in your very own way.
Value conscious
A kitchen’s an investment. In time, in money and when it comes to adding value to your home.
So, we want to make sure we respect that by doing everything we can to make your kitchen feel
more than worthwhile and to give you as much as possible within your design. And because there
are lots of cabinetry options to mix and match, it means that if you’re on a strict budget,
we’ll always try to figure out a way to make your dream kitchen happen.
