Candles add such a lot of atmosphere on their own, but Neve is a large hurricane lantern that will take that up a notch for you. It has an etched surface that causes all of these prism-like ridges that cover every inch of the glass. Not only does is it lovely to look at, but you’ll probably find yourself running your hands around it because there’s something really nice about the texture. Pop a candle inside and watch the way it plays with the light. Or, use it filled with greenery or a strand of fairy lights.

Materials
Matte and glossy, cool and warm: every room needs a balance of the two to feel comfortable. Glass, like mirror, will reflect the light in your room – just in a subtler way. So, use little touches like this hurricane to contrast with matte textures like paint, wool and linen.
Design detail
Neve’s blown and finished by hand, so no two are exactly alike. One might be a touch smaller than another; you might see a tiny air bubble trapped in the glass; or a swirl where it expanded as it was blown. It’s all part of the personality of something handmade.
