The Antonia napkins are made from pure linen. It’s a natural fibre that absorbs spills quickly and dries quickly – just what you want in a napkin. It’s very strong and durable so these napkins will really last. And it just gets softer with use, and more lovely to touch.
The making process
This Antonia fabric is called ‘chambray’. It’s woven with a coloured ‘warp’ (the vertical threads fixed to the loom, in this case, sage green), and a white ‘weft’ (the horizontal threads that pass over and under the warps). Together they create this soft green.
These napkins are a generous 45x45cm size. They come in a matching linen pouch, closed with a pearl button. So they all stay together, dust free, and easy to find in the cupboard.
When it comes to smaller items, we don't hang around.
From our own, white-glove service for delivering larger pieces in the UK and Ireland, to our courier and international partners, rest assured that we’ve done everything we can to make sure your order gets to you on time and in one, perfect piece.
Delivery’s also entirely free if you’re in the UK and spend over £50 (or €100 in Ireland).
We believe that returns should be easy, which is why we approach them with a ‘no quibble’ mindset. And, you’ll also have 28 days to do so – just in case you need time to mull things over.
You can machine wash these linen napkins and they’ll just keep getting better with use – we recommend a 30° wash and hanging them out to dry, rather than putting them in the tumble dryer, because it’s gentler on the fabric and the environment. Linen’s naturally crumpled look is part of what makes Antonia feel relaxed, so you only need to lightly iron them.
