Chatto Sofa Set with Stanway Coffee Table

A closer look at Chatto

There’s something typically English about Chatto, which is made using the early 20th-century craft of Lloyd Loom. Its curvy shape’s comfy and supportive, while the textured weave with plaited edges adds subtle decoration. Here, we’ve partnered it with our teak Stanway coffee table, whose slatted top is inspired by boat decking. It’s made for the garden but is equally at home indoors.

Included in your set

Our Chatto garden set consists of one Stanway coffee table, which sit nicely with our Chatto sofa with seat cushions, and two armchairs with seat cushions. Scatter cushions can be purchased separately here for an extra touch of colour.

About Lloyd Loom

Invented in the early 1900s, Lloyd Loom’s made by wrapping paper around steel wire to create a natural woven look. It’s very sturdy and won’t bend, creak or snag. It has a painted finish - our Lily shade, a warm grey that goes with everything and looks great with greenery.

About Teak

Teak’s a hardwood that’s full of natural oils, so it’s practical for outdoors. Tuscany comes pre-treated with our IsoGuard® oil, to soften its honey-brown colour and protect it from the elements. The wood will weather, though, taking on a lovely silvery tint over time.

The seat cushions

All the cushions on our garden pieces have covers made from pale cream-coloured spun polyester – although weather-resistant (fine with a shower, but bring them in if it rains heavily and over winter), they feel just as soft as a natural linen or cotton fabric. The removable covers are machine washable at 30° too.

How it feels

Chatto’s got a slim frame, but the seat’s quite deep and wide and the back’s firm. If you want to, there’s space to add a few scatter cushions, but the seamless line from back to arms means you’ll be comfortable without them.

Design details

The slim gaps in Tuscany’s tabletop allow for natural movement in the timber as it expands and shrinks with changes in the weather. They also help water to drain away. On the chairs, the aluminium frame’s just visible at the bottom of the legs above subtle, plastic-capped feet that protect it from dirt, moisture and scuffs.

Where we see it

Chatto’s designed for garden rooms, conservatories and orangeries, but you can use it outdoors in good weather, too.

Right this way

We take our delivery service seriously. Neptune transport, Neptune people, Neptune service.

Our white glove service means you’ll have a two-man delivery team. That means no heavy lifting on your part is needed. They’ll take it to your desired spot, assemble it for you and take away the packaging for recycling. The assembly service doesn't include fitted furniture.

For homes and customers outside of the UK and Ireland, our international team are here to help arrange shipping and delivery. Call us on +44 (0)1793 427 427 or e-mail [email protected] and together we’ll sort out the best method for you.

No-quibble returns

We believe that returns should be easy, that’s why we approach them with a ‘no quibble’ mindset. If you decide on the day that it’s not for you then our delivery team can take it away for you there and then, free of charge.

But if you’d rather mull things over, you have 28 days to make up your mind. We do charge a pick-up fee of £29.95 here though, because we’ll need to send our delivery team back out to your address for collection.
