A closer look at Wardley

Wardley’s a simple coat rack design for those of us that like a minimal look. It’s also full of useful details: it doesn’t have a shelf so you can hang wide-brimmed hats on its pegs; its edges are chamfered so they don’t catch on your coats; and its pegs are shaped to hold things like scarves and umbrellas in place. It comes in three sizes as well, so you can find one that’ll suit your space.

Materials

As practical as it is, Wardley’s also an attractive piece thanks to the beautiful, grain-rich (and strong) oak used to make it. Part of oak’s character are its knots and variations in tone, so each piece will have its own hand-writing.

Finish

Wardley is protected with IsoGuard®, our timber treatment oil that makes the oak easier to live with (helping it stand up to wet and muddy coats) without masking its matte texture. It does initially darken its appearance, but our Natural finish replenishes the original, soft colour.

Just So you know

There are keyhole fixings on the back of this coat rack so you can fix it to the wall – you just need to select the screws you need for your wall and then slot your coat rack onto them once they’re in place.

Natural timber will always want to move. It’s going to expand and shrink as the temperature and humidity in your home changes, but there are specialist joinery techniques that can help to counteract the movement. And that’s exactly what we do, so although you might see a little movement in the timber over the seasons, it won’t change drastically.

Taking care of your furniture

You want: easy-to-care-for pieces that you don’t need to tiptoe around. We’ve got: easy-to-read-through care guides that give you just that.

Right this way

We take our delivery service seriously. Neptune transport, Neptune people, Neptune service.

Our white glove service means you’ll have a two-man delivery team. That means no heavy lifting on your part is needed. They’ll take it to your desired spot, assemble it for you and take away the packaging for recycling. The assembly service doesn't include fitted furniture.

For homes and customers outside of the UK and Ireland, our international team are here to help arrange shipping and delivery. Call us on +44 (0)1793 427 427 or e-mail [email protected] and together we’ll sort out the best method for you.

No-quibble returns

We believe that returns should be easy, that’s why we approach them with a ‘no quibble’ mindset. If you decide on the day that it’s not for you then our delivery team can take it away for you there and then, free of charge.

But if you’d rather mull things over, you have 28 days to make up your mind. We do charge a pick-up fee of £29.95 here though, because we’ll need to send our delivery team back out to your address for collection.

If you’ve bought something from us outside the UK or Ireland, just get in touch with the store you bought it from – or with our international team if you bought it through them – and they’ll let you know how you can return or exchange it.

You can find the store’s details online here.

And talk to our international team on +44 (0)1793 427 427 or at [email protected]
