Lowther’s all about texture. Each piece is slightly rippled – as though it’s just come off the potter’s wheel – and is dusted with dark brown freckles on an off-white background. Use it when you want your table to have a laidback, contemporary feel. This dinner plate is, of course, big enough for any main dish, but you could also use it as a charger underneath a bowl to make your setting feel more layered.
