The materials

All the Ashby pieces are made of hollow earthenware, so they’re lightweight but reassuringly robust.

The finish

Ashby is finished with a high-shine glaze for a crisp, clean look. It’s not rustic looking like the other ornaments so it can bring a completely different look to your room. You can choose from a crisp clean white, or dark and contemporary, pebble grey.

Design inspiration

The apple is rich in symbolism and has been used in many myths and legends as a symbol of both good and evil. We’re going with the Greek myth about the nymph daughters of Hesperus where the apple symbolised the treasure of knowledge and wisdom.
