Did you know that all our hand & body washes and lotions are refillable? You can order a one litre refill bottle online here, or you can visit us in store where we’ll refill your current bottle for you. It’s a little thing, but it’s one of the ways we’re trying to be more sustainable.
The scent
Reminiscent of a late summer evening in a sun-warmed garden, English Fig is sweet, velvety and warming but with an uplifting freshness. It combines green and fruity notes – leafy figs, dried fruits and tart cassis – with a subtly floral hint of rose, woodier notes and the honeyed, resinous scent of amber.
The bottle
This hand and body wash comes in a brown glass bottle: so much more substantial, sustainable and lovelier than plastic. It’s a clean, calm and considered look – a little bit vintage but contemporary too – that suits just about every type of home.
What's inside
The ingredients in this hand and body wash are 98% naturally derived. They include honey, which actively draws moisture into the skin, and tocopherol, a source of the antioxidant vitamin E, which helps keep your skin healthy. Rest assured that all the ingredients are paraben free, dermatologically tested and not tested on animals.
In the making
Some things are best left to the experts, which is why, for our bath and body collection, we work with a small team that know all about making delicately-scented lotions and potions. They’re based in a Buckinghamshire market town, where they dream up the scents and formulas, and also make everything in Britain too.
