The guide:

where to shop this July

We love to shop. We have our firm favourites but we equally adore finding hidden gems and disclosing our newly-discovered secrets with each other on a Monday morning. So we decided to start The Guide – a monthly edition to our blog where we reveal our hush-hush haunts.

Share them selectively, you wouldn’t want just anyone finding out…

Edition #2

The beauty fix

This month we focus on all things skin, hair, nails and body. For him, her, little people, and even pets.

For her:
lola's apothecary

A few words
This online boutique was founded by a lady who describes herself as adoring roses, fresh air and random acts of kindness. She started blending home-made potions in her tiny London kitchen for her sensitive skin and now runs her very own apothecary on a picture-perfect farm in Devon. Her mission? "To provide a momentary retreat from the vivid dance of life".

Product pick

For him:
Portland England

A few words
Portland England is made up of a team who sail, swim and surf. Their collection of hydrating skincare and grooming products are designed for men who pursue active lifestyles but who equally care about honest ingredients and handsome design (take a look at their Italian leather-capped aftershave and shaving oil).

Product pick
Daily face wash & AHA exfoliator.

For little people:

A few words
Sarah from our marketing team first came across Sabon when taking a wrong turn down the cobbled paths of the Marais district in Paris. Inside was a crumbling well and guests were invited to wash the city from their hands using one of their natural salt scrubs. Heaven. Now with boutiques in quiet spots all over the world, it's still relatively unknown but holds the most beautiful array of natural cleansing and bathing products for men, women and even newborns.

Product pick
Chamomile and lavender anti-rash cream for babies.

For pets:
Mungo & Maud

A few words
For pet-obsessed people, Mungo and Maud is the most beautiful place for everything from collars and bedding to exquisite grooming goods. Their own-branded pieces are an absolute must but they also stock quite niche care products from Lila Loves It including their paw care balm for scuffed pooch pads.

Product pick
Petite Amande dog shampoo.
