The materials
Chloe is transformed from flax to fabric in Belgium – one of a few countries which has an ideal climate for cultivating the world’s finest linen. As such, the material carries the Belgian Linen label, a quality trademark which guarantees it’s woven in Belgium with at least 85% natural flax fibres (or, in Chloe’s case, 100%). And, it also has the Masters of Linen label, a seal of excellence which certifies that it's been made in Europe and meets high quality standards. You can find more information on Chloe's production story here.
The colour
Chloe’s woven base cloth uses dyes that are approved by REACH, an organisation which regulates the use of harmful chemicals to minimise environmental impact. The fabric is then stonewashed, which takes some of the dye out of the fabric to give it that much-loved characterful look. Our purple-tinged Chloe Fig goes well with Linara at Neptune Moss: they harmonise to create an almost neutral base which you can update your palette around over time.Doing the right thing
Not only is this biodegradable fabric made in a carbon neutral weaving mill, our supplier also ensures that all parts of the flax plant are used during production. The shives (fragments that break off inside the plant stems during flax extraction) are used for animal bedding or chipboard, while the long and highest-quality short fibres are used for textiles like our Chloe linen. The fabric also meets OEKO-TEX standard 100, a label exclusively applied to textiles that have been tested and found free of harmful substances.L'équipe du magasin où vous avez passé commande vous informera sur le déroulement, le délai et le coût de la livraison.
