Chacune de nos créations Ashcroft est en rotin naturel étroitement tressé à la main, ce qui lui donne une résistance incroyable. Les dimensions que nous donnons ne sont qu’indicatives, il se peut qu’elles varient légèrement. C’est ce qui fait le charme d’un objet artisanal. Nos cadres photo Ashcroft ont un dos doublé de velours et une plaque de verre.

The finish

After weaving, the rattan is given an off-white enamel wash. It’s not totally uniform – you can still see the natural-coloured rattan peeking through in places. But it’s what makes this piece feel relaxed even though the pale colour is quite contemporary.
