Larsson Wardrobe

A closer look at Larsson

Our Larsson collection was designed with bedrooms in mind – it’s pretty and refined, part Gustavian and part inspired by the British countryside. This wardrobe is finished with the collection’s signature distressed paintwork (that’s inherently easy to live with) and carved details, including wildflower motifs, which it combines with adaptable storage.

Materials

For our painted pieces, we turn to tulipwood. It’s a resilient yet lightweight hardwood which has a fine grain, resulting in a smooth surface with no knots showing through.

Finish

We take great care over our painted finishes and treat every design differently so it’s robust. In Larsson, this means a base of Grey Oak which we cover completely using Salt, before sanding this back so a little of the colour beneath can show though. Alternatively, we can paint Larsson solidly in any of our other colours for you.

Storage

This wardrobe was designed with adaptability in mind, because no two people’s storage needs are the same. So, the hanging rail and two shelves inside can all be adjusted (we like to place one shelf above the rail for storing less-used items), and there’s a generously sized drawer beneath.

Design detail

Despite all this storage, Larsson’s proportions are delicate, from its tapered legs to its cornice. It’s also full of little details – like load-bearing and attractive zig-zag shelving supports, and a drawer that opens fully and closes softly – that elevate it.

Just so you know

The colours in our paint palette shown here are a close representation of their true shades, but to see the real thing, we suggest trying our sample paint pots.

Our Larsson pieces come with Antique Brass handles (a dark, almost black, brass colour) that are decorated with a floral motif.

This piece is made from natural timber, which will expand (slightly) and shrink (just a little) as it responds to the humidity and temperature in your room. We’ve used joinery techniques that’ll help to counteract this, but small changes in your piece are completely natural and to be expected. Just know that, in the very unlikely event that there’s a significant change to the structure, we’ll be here to help.

Taking care

We’ve put together this guide on taking care of your furniture so that it stays looking as beautiful as the day you first brought it home.

We take our delivery service seriously. Neptune transport, Neptune people, Neptune service.

Our white glove service means you’ll have a two-man delivery team. That means no heavy lifting on your part is needed. They’ll take it to your desired spot, assemble it for you and take away the packaging for recycling.

No-quibble returns

We believe that returns should be easy, that’s why we approach them with a ‘no quibble’ mindset. If you decide on the day that it’s not for you then our delivery team can take it away for you there and then, free of charge.

But if you’d rather mull things over, you have 28 days to make up your mind. We do charge a pick-up fee of £29.95 here though, because we’ll need to send our delivery team back out to your address for collection.
