Harmondsworth Sunlounger

The material

Teak’s a hardwood that’s perfectly suited to life outdoors because it’s resistant to rot. We’ve treated it with our exterior IsoGuard® oil to help protect it and temper its natural honey-brown colour. Over time, it’ll take on a silvered patina.

The seat cushions

The cushions are made from weather-resistant canvas, so you needn’t bring them inside if there’s a quick summer shower. They aren’t completely weatherproof, though, so don’t leave them out all year long or in pouring rain. They’re filled with foam, which is soft but keeps its shape well, and the covers are removable, so they’re easy to clean.

How it feels

Bordeaux is a streamlined shape that’s very comfortable to stretch out on. The cushions are firm enough that you won’t feel the frame underneath, and at two metres, it’s long enough for just about every height.

Design detail

There’s a manual mechanism for adjusting the angle of Bordeaux’s back, because it’s easy to use. There are also two cushions rather than one long one, so they won’t bend out of shape when the lounger’s upright.

Where we see it

Although Bordeaux is ideal for sunbathing out in the open air, it’s also lovely in a garden room if you want something more suited to lying full length than a sofa.

Taking care of your furniture

You want: easy-to-care-for pieces that you don’t need to tiptoe around. We’ve got: easy-to-read-through care guides that give you just that.

Right this way

We take our delivery service seriously. Neptune transport, Neptune people, Neptune service.

Our white glove service means you’ll have a two-man delivery team. That means no heavy lifting on your part is needed. They’ll take it to your desired spot, assemble it for you and take away the packaging for recycling. The assembly service doesn't include fitted furniture.

For homes and customers outside of the UK and Ireland, our international team are here to help arrange shipping and delivery. Call us on +44 (0)1793 427 427 or e-mail  and together we’ll sort out the best method for you.

No-quibble returns

We believe that returns should be easy, that’s why we approach them with a ‘no quibble’ mindset. If you decide on the day that it’s not for you then our delivery team can take it away for you there and then, free of charge.

But if you’d rather mull things over, you have 28 days to make up your mind. We do charge a pick-up fee of £29.95 here though, because we’ll need to send our delivery team back out to your address for collection.

If you’ve bought something from us outside the UK or Ireland, just get in touch with the store you bought it from – or with our international team if you bought it through them – and they’ll let you know how you can return or exchange it.

You can find the store’s details online here.

And talk to our international team on +44 (0)1793 427 427 or at
