Where in the world are you?
It’s far nicer (and easier) when things are in your own language.Right now, we speak a few, but we’re learning more all the time…
Although it was inspired by a grand antique (at Blenheim Palace, no less), this table’s light elegance is just right in a less-is-more home. Its curved front and narrow width make it especially good for tighter spaces, as there are no hard corners to edge around.
Blenheim’s full of fine details, like the arcs at the base that borrow from 18th century fretwork furniture, the tapered, carved legs, and the angles on the tabletop. Thanks to its slim proportions, though, it never looks too fussy.
We use oak for its beautiful grain, its durability and its sense of heritage (we’ve written more on its qualities here). Knots and variations in tone are part of its character, so each and every part of Blenheim will be unique.
Brushing the oak removes the soft fibres from its grain, so you get a rustic, touchable texture. The wood’s protected with our IsoGuard® treatment oil in Chalked Oak, which guards against dirt and scuffs and gives it a paler, softer look that highlights the grain.
This is one of our more traditional consoles, but although it’s at home in classic interiors it can also bring a touch of decoration to a more minimal room. The curved edge means its comfortable in confined spaces, like a hallway, in between windows or either side of a fireplace.
We’ve put together this guide on taking care of your console table, so that it stays looking as beautiful as the day you first brought it home.
