Materials: stem and spoke
Staysail’s stem and spokes are made from strong but light (so you can move it around easily) aluminium that’s powder-coated to give it a smart, corrosion-resistant finish.
The polyester canvas canopy won’t fade in the sun and has an ‘ultraviolet protection factor’ of 50+ (it’ll help shield you against both UVA and UVB rays). It’s also waterproof and, although you can’t remove it from the parasol, you can spot-clean it.
Free for all orders over £50 (or €100 in Ireland).
If your order is available now, we’ll deliver it between 3-5 days of your order being placed.
If your order is not available straight away, an estimated date will be indicated above and at checkout. We’ll then get in touch nearer the estimated date to arrange a specific time.
We believe that returns should be easy, which is why we approach them with a ‘no quibble’ mindset. And, you’ll also have 28 days to do so – just in case you need time to mull things over.
Taking care of Staysail
We recommend that you keep your parasol open as much as possible, especially if it gets wet, as this will help prevent mildew on the canopy. Of course, if the wind picks up, it’s advisable to bring it down, and we suggest bringing it inside over winter too to prevent staining. If it does get a mark on it, we suggest spot-cleaning using a mild solution of soap and warm water – Staysail’s canopy isn’t removeable so can’t be put in the washing machine.
Just so you know
We recommend that you use this parasol together with a table and a parasol base. If you’d like a freestanding parasol, our Spritsail design is the one for you.
