From our own, white-glove service for delivering larger pieces in the UK and Ireland, to our courier and international partners, rest assured that we’ve done everything we can to make sure your order gets to you on time and in one, perfect piece.
Delivery’s also entirely free if you’re in the UK and spend over £50 (or €100 in Ireland).
We believe that returns should be easy, which is why we approach them with a ‘no quibble’ mindset. And, you’ll also have 28 days to do so – just in case you need time to mull things over.
When it comes to designs upholstered in a made-to-order fabric or painted in a bespoke colour, there’s also a 20% returns/cancellation fee. We’d love to not have to charge a penny for this, but as they’re made just for you, we can’t always guarantee that we’ll be able to sell them again.
If you’ve bought something from us outside the UK or Ireland, just get in touch with the store you bought it from – or with our international team if you bought it through them – and they’ll let you know how you can return or exchange it.
And talk to our international team on +44 (0)1793 427 427 or at email@example.com.

We’ve put together a series of guides on how best to take care of Workstation, so you can keep them looking as good as the day you first brought them home.
Natural timber will always want to move. Fact. It’s going to expand and shrink as the temperature and humidity in your home changes, but there are specialist joinery techniques that can help to counteract the movement. And that’s exactly what we do.
If you’d like the colour of your piece to be spot on, there’s really nothing better than ordering a sample paint pot or colour card – on your screen, the colour might be one or two shades off.
A closer look at Chichester
When it comes to timber for painting, you can’t really do better than tulipwood. It’s not much to look at on its own, but it’s got a barely-there grain that guarantees a smooth finish when it’s painted. It’s also a hardwood, which means it’s strong and durable. There’s a touch of oak in there too, this time unpainted because it would be a real shame to cover oak up.
The finish: paint
You might think hand-painting is best – usually anything done by hand is best – but that’s not always the case. Take our pieces: we’ll spray paint them a few times (and, if they need it, a few times more) and then finish off with a brush. Because that’s the way to get a properly perfect finish. Just know that it’s not a bomb-proof one. But that’s the beauty of painted timber: it’s touch-up ready.
The finish: IsoGuard®
Meet IsoGuard® – our timber treatment oil. In a nutshell, it makes oak easier to live with. Think of it as a bit of a defence barrier, but one that you can’t see, feel or would ever know was there. If you’d like to know all the science-y stuff behind it, you can find that here.
Design is in the detail
Adjustable shelves in the upper cabinet; ventilation holes and built-in cable management throughout; spaces for monitors, computer towers and printers: Chichester’s got everything you need for an organised workspace. There are also two soft-close drawers that can hold a vertical filing system in the base; a pull-out work surface for your keyboard and so you can get your knees in underneath; and bi-fold doors on the top section that fold back out the way.
