- Miller Chair
Frame and filling
We make the frames of our upholstered dining chairs with sold timber and proper joinery – they’re built to last. Miller also has serpentine springs as well as foam and fibre padding for as much comfort as possible without making it too bulky.
Comfort and proportions
The curve in Miller’s shape cushions your lower back and, depending on your height, allows your shoulders to relax freely or supports them. It’s not the sort of chair you’ll sink into it, neither is it quite as springy as some, but it certainly isn’t a firm sit either. It’s a good middle ground.
Design detail
As simple as Miller is, details like the fan shape in the back and seat and the arc in the side profile mean it doesn’t feel as straight-lined and modern as a design like Shoreditch. So, in a traditional space, it’ll fit in rather than acting as a contrast.

Fabric notes
The textiles in our fabric library range from pure linen to rich velvet and wool, and each has its own character. Tone and texture can vary slightly from thread to thread, and expect to see the occasional slub in our linens – traits that are all a lovely part of natural materials.
Sometimes colours between batches can vary ever so slightly. To be on the safe side, we’d advise buying pieces that are being used in the same room in one go.
