With its rounded, laid-back shape, Pesaro has a cosy feel to it that’s just right for country gardens (although you could just as easily use it to soften a modern balcony). It’s made from a material that mimics willow and rattan, in natural tones that are easy to live with and complement stone or timber.
Design & engineering
The material
This chair’s made with a woven resin fibre we call ‘all-weather wicker’ – it’s got very much the same look as natural rattan, but it’s happy being left outside and will make your life much easier (as well as having a longer lifespan).
How it feels
Purbeck’s got a high, wraparound back, so it feels really snug, and the back cushions can be shuffled around to suit the way you’re sitting.
Design detail
Purbeck’s edges are neatly finished with a line of plaited wicker. The legs have small plastic feet to protect them from dirt, moisture and scuffs and make the sofa easier to move.
