A closer look at Marton
This flooring’s engineered timber, which means it’s made from a top layer of oak bonded to a base layer of plywood. We use a generous 4mm of oak that’ll give your floor a long life, combined with a thick 11mm layer of ply. This combination’s very strong, so it’s ideal for use with underfloor heating.
Marton comes in two colours – this one’s Chalked Oak, which has a slightly greyer, paler tone than Natural Oak.
Looking after it
Like all our wood flooring, Marton comes with a coating of our IsoGuard® treatment oil to protect it. It’s invisible, so the natural oak character isn’t masked in any way, and it helps to make each board less susceptible to stains and scuffs. You can read all there is no know about IsoGuard here.
Where we see it
The grey tint of Marton in Chalked Oak is a little subtler than our Natural Oak finish. It’ll make a white kitchen more modern, or bring a calm feel to a living room or bedroom, especially with our Nordic and Pebble paint palettes.
