Imperial is big and bold, but entirely classic. Early 20th-century mechanical design inspired its looks, with its nickel finish and oversized fixture. It’s a pendant that’s decorative but utilitarian, making it a good choice for kitchens.

Materials and finish
Imperial’s made from strong steel, but it’s nickel-plated to give it a high-shine, durable finish that won’t corrode. Nickel’s an essentially neutral material, taking on and complementing the colours around it, which makes it easy to use. Inside the shade, it’s brushed to soften the sheen and gently diffuse the light.
This pendant comes with a nickel chain and simple ceiling rose, and a coordinating black flex. The chain and flex are two metres long in case you have tall ceilings or want to hang it low, but an electrician can easily shorten them for you.
