Design detail
The raised band detail at the top and bottom of Hanover’s stem hints at 19th century style. But, we’ve kept most of it clean and simple – especially the base – so it feels timeless.
Material and finish
Hanover’s base is made from cast aluminium and the column is made from strong steel, but it’s nickel-plated to give it a high-shine, durable finish that won’t corrode. Nickel’s an essentially neutral material, taking on and complementing the colours around it, which makes it easy to use. Hanover also has a braided, black silk flex.
