This mirror’s made of tulipwood, a hardwood with a fine, knot-free grain that makes a smooth surface for paint. We use a mixture of spray-painted and hand-painted techniques, so the finish is as perfect and robust as can be.
The frame’s almost completely free from decoration – it mimics the cornicing on the Chichester dresser and kitchen cabinets. The shape’s like a picture frame, angling outwards from the glass to give it depth and character.
Where we see it
Chichester comes in four sizes, which you can either hang on the wall or prop on furniture and floors. Its simple, relaxed look suits either approach.
We believe that returns should be easy, which is why we approach them with a ‘no quibble’ mindset. And, you’ll also have 28 days to do so – just in case you need time to mull things over.
When it comes to designs upholstered in a made-to-order fabric or painted in a bespoke colour, there’s also a 20% returns/cancellation fee. We’d love to not have to charge a penny for this, but as they’re made just for you, we can’t always guarantee that we’ll be able to sell them again.
If you’ve bought something from us outside the UK or Ireland, just get in touch with the store you bought it from – or with our international team if you bought it through them – and they’ll let you know how you can return or exchange it.
And talk to our international team on +44 (0)1793 427 427 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Taking care of Chichester
You want: easy-to-care-for pieces that you don’t need to tiptoe around. We’ve got: easy-to-read-through care guides that give you just that. Right this way
Just so you know
The colours in our paint palette shown here are a close representation of their true shades, but to see the real thing, we suggest trying our sample paint pots or ordering our paint card booklet.
Chichester’s made from natural timber, which will expand and shrink slightly as it responds to the humidity and temperature in your room. We’ve used joinery techniques that’ll help to counteract this, but small changes are completely natural. In the unlikely event that there’s a significant change to the structure, we’ll be here to help. To hang, you’ll need to select fixings that are best for your wall, which is why we haven’t included these.
