It’s far nicer (and easier) when things are in your own language.Right now, we speak a few, but we’re learning more all the time…
The demilune (semi-circular) shape of our Blenheim oak console table gives it a soft appearance and makes it particularly suited to tighter spaces – whether on either side of a fireplace, in between windows, or in a narrow hallway. It was inspired by an antique table seen at Blenheim Palace, but has a more contemporary, tactile finish and understated details.
Brushing the oak removes the soft fibres from its grain, so you get a rustic, touchable texture. The wood’s protected with our IsoGuard® treatment oil in Chalked Oak, which guards against dirt and scuffs and gives it a paler, softer look that highlights the grain.
Blenheim’s full of fine details, like the arcs at the base that borrow from 18th century fretwork furniture, the tapered, carved legs, and the angles on the tabletop. Thanks to its slim proportions, though, it never looks too fussy.
Blenheim’s made from natural timber, which will expand and shrink slightly as it responds to the humidity and temperature in your room. We’ve used joinery techniques that’ll help to counteract this, but small changes are completely natural. In the unlikely event that there’s a significant change to the structure, we’ll be here to help.
We’ve put together this guide on taking care of your console table, so that it stays looking as beautiful as the day you first brought it home.
