It’s far nicer (and easier) when things are in your own language.Right now, we speak a few, but we’re learning more all the time…
Once upon a time, sofas, armchairs and footstools spent their days sat, quite comfortably, in living rooms alone. But these are the pieces that comfort us, that provide us with a moment of rest and a spot of recuperation. These are the pieces that encourage us to sit back and put our feet up. We might not find the time to nap, but we can at least find the time to sit. So we invite them with open arms into every room of the home.
The story behind our covers
We care about all those details that you can’t see. So we build our frames as pieces of furniture in their own right, using solid timber, proper jointing and never any cardboard.
The design details
There’s an awful lot to consider: the style, the shape, the rake, the pitch, and so forth. And trying to balance them all in a way that promises form, fit and feel is far from easy.
Each chair is designed with a different, and specific, filling ratio to best suit its character. We use fibre, foam, duck feather, and down (for extra loftiness), and a serpentine spring base.
From two-seaters to four-seaters, from classic to contemporary, and for rooms small or spacious.
A place for tired toes to catch up on sleep. A place to perch at the foot of the bed.
To keep a sofa company in a living room, to act as a dressing chair in a bedroom, to occupy a forgotten corner in a hallway.
Our collection of our sofas, armchairs and footstools available with delivery in just two weeks.
To help you make up your mind, you can order up to six swatches, for free, from our fabric library. Or, pick them up from your closest Neptune store.
Just the way you want it
One sofa doesn’t fit all. We hope that you find our collection offers a spectrum of style, and once you’ve chosen your design, you can make it your own thanks to our Neptune Tailored service.
We house over 40 textiles in our fabric library from pure linen to rich velvet and from patterned to plain. Learn more about each fabric’s character profile to see which one best suits your home here.
Almost all of our upholstered designs have four options of leg colour: Pale Oak, Dark Oak, Vintage Oak or Dark Oak. It means you can pick the option that complements your choice of fabric and the rest of your furniture.
Most of our seating collections have same-fabric piping, In some cases we offer contrast piping, such as on Shoreditch and on any of our printed linens – a patterned fabric with patterned piping looks far too busy otherwise.
You’ll find many of our upholstery designs in our stores, waiting to be sat on, curled up on, and even laid down upon if it’ll help you with your decision-making.
