From our own, white-glove service for delivering larger pieces in the UK and Ireland, to our courier and international partners, rest assured that we’ve done everything we can to make sure your order gets to you on time and in one, perfect piece.
Delivery’s also entirely free if you’re in the UK and spend over £50 (or €100 in Ireland).
We believe that returns should be easy, which is why we approach them with a ‘no quibble’ mindset. And, you’ll also have 28 days to do so – just in case you need time to mull things over.
You want: easy-to-care-for pieces that you don’t need to tiptoe around. We’ve got: easy-to-read-through care guides that give you just that.
There can be some colour variation between different batches of our fabric – we try to make them as small as possible, but it’s something to be expected with natural fibres. If you’re using this fabric more than once in the same room, we recommend ordering as many metres as you need in one go - that way, we can make sure it’s all from the same batch.
A closer look at Isla
90% cotton and 10% polyester. Cotton for softness and breathability, and polyester to make it more hardwearing – though it’ll still mark and crease over time, taking on velvet’s signature character. Isla’s got a high rub count, too, which means it’s more durable.
How it feels
Isla has a short pile that feels very smooth. As well as making it practical for everyday use, this close pile (or nap) also helps to keep the texture of the fabric even, without the rippled look you get with some velvets.
The colour of velvet can completely change its mood, so Isla comes in several different shades to reflect that. This is Kingfisher, a deep teal blue. It’s a warm blue rather than cool and feels cosy with our Angus wool fabric in Flint.
Where we see it
Isla is designed to work in all kinds of settings, from a sofa to curtains and cushions. Depending on the colour you choose, it can create all kinds of moods, from relaxed to rich and indulgent.
