Abbotsbury’s an earthy grey-brown limestone with lots of texture. It’s the one for people who love an organic look with a few natural imperfections here and there.

The finish
Abbotsbury’s tumbled with pebbles, sand and water to give it a worn look, with a slightly uneven surface and edges. You’ll notice creamy white patches and areas of open texture within the stone that give it more character. Like all limestone, it’s warm underfoot, but you can use it with underfloor heating too.
Where we see it
Abbotsbury’s just right in a traditional home, but it can also look wonderful in a more modern, minimal setting, where it adds welcome softness and texture. Try it with the earthy brown paints in our Timber palette, such as Peat and Walnut.
Our stone tiles are one of the only designs we don’t deliver ourselves. Instead, they’ll come straight to you from our specialist partner. Rest assured we’ll still handle the booking process for you though. And when you place your order in store or over the phone, we’ll let you know the cost of delivery based on your location and the size of your order.
Care & need to knows
Care guide
Vacuum with a brush attachment or sweep regularly to remove loose grit and dirt.
Clean with pH neutral cleaners only so you don’t erode the sealant.
Need to know
Instructions for installation are provided on delivery.
All our stone floors must be sealed after installation and before grouting.
Apply a second coat of sealant after grouting.
Natural stone tiles will require resealing - every couple of years in high traffic areas and up to 10 years in low traffic areas.
We recommend using Lithofin Stainstop to seal and reseal your tiles.
Stone and earthenware flooring can be fragile when cut or trimmed. We recommend allowing for 10% wastage when it comes to installing these tiles.
