About our primer
Like our paints, our primer’s low in chemicals and almost odour-free, so it’s better for people and the environment. And because it’s water based, a damp cloth’s all you need to clean up drips and spills.
The rest of our paint collection
Explore our paint collection online here to discover our 28 timeless, core shades – split into seven, ready-to-use, nature-inspired palettes – as well as our seasonal and archive colours. You can order a swatch booklet and tester pots online too, to help you choose the perfect colour.
When it comes to smaller items, we don't hang around.
From our own, white-glove service for delivering larger pieces in the UK and Ireland, to our courier and international partners, rest assured that we’ve done everything we can to make sure your order gets to you on time and in one, perfect piece.
Delivery’s also entirely free if you’re in the UK and spend over £50 (or €100 in Ireland).
No-quibble returns
We believe that returns should be easy, which is why we approach them with a ‘no quibble’ mindset. And, you’ll also have 28 days to do so – just in case you need time to mull things over.
Care guide
We use a water-based, acrylic eggshell paint on our furniture that’s tough and long-lasting, so you’ll find it easy to maintain over the years. Simply dust down with a dry e-cloth, and if you find a mark, it should come away easily with the simple swish of a damp cloth.
Need to know
Sometimes our paint colours can be different from batch to batch. It’ll only ever be a very small difference (within 0.8%), but it’s something you should bear in mind if you’re painting several things the same colour in one room. Best to buy all the paint you need at one time and keep a spare bit handy for touch-ups. It also means that the colours in our paint books might be ever so slightly different too.
VOC: You might’ve heard of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) before. They’re chemicals that evaporate at room temperature, and you often find them in paint. They’re not great for your health though, so you don’t want too many. That’s why we keep the amount in ours as low as we can. Both our emulsion and eggshell finishes contain 2g of VOCs per litre, max. To put that in perspective, the EU limit is 30g per litre.
