Neptune HQ, Swindon - Permanent, full-time

The role

We are driven by seasons, not trends, and so our product launches come twice a year - Autumn and Spring. And while each season feels new and fresh, they're always within the Neptune aesthetic (refined, timeless and British). These are then translated by our product design and development team into the pieces that will join our renowned homewares collection. Their focus is always on longevity, using the best possible materials and techniques. They also re-design, evolving and tweaking as necessary, making the best even better.

Every small detail is considered, so, the work of an Artworker with a keen eye for detail who loves to get things just right, is invaluable in this team. We are looking for someone with a 'roll your sleeves up' mentality to be the cornerstone of all art working in the product department. From innovating new packaging designs to delivering exceptional product communication literature you will be at the heart of everything we produce.

As an integral part of our team, some of the important parts of your role will include:

  • Artworking packaging and literature concepts with absolute precision.
  • Creating ad hoc print collateral, seasonal product books, visuals, care guides and even barcodes
  • Providing your expertise packaging and constantly moving the guidelines forward to ensure brand innovation with exceptional environmental responsibility.
  • Tender printed materials with print partners.
  • Actively contribute to all team initiatives with positive ideas and a passion for homewares and design.

You will be a whizz with InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator but still keen to learn more and challenge yourself. We imagine you'll also be particular about your pixels and meticulous about your millimetres! This role is a real 360 art working position. As the product artworker you will be responsible for a huge variety of projects at anyone time, from designing beautiful product packaging to putting together 300 page technical guides. You need to love to be busy and creative, but also be detail driven and take the time to make sure everything produced is at an exceptional quality level. It's a great opportunity within a fantastically creative and innovative brand and no day the same.
