From our own, white-glove service for delivering larger pieces in the UK and Ireland, to our courier and international partners, rest assured that we’ve done everything we can to make sure your order gets to you on time and in one, perfect piece.
Delivery’s also entirely free if you’re in the UK and spend over £50 (or €100 in Ireland).
We believe that returns should be easy, which is why we approach them with a ‘no quibble’ mindset. And, you’ll also have 28 days to do so – just in case you need time to mull things over.
When it comes to designs upholstered in a made-to-order fabric or painted in a bespoke colour, there’s also a 20% returns/cancellation fee. We’d love to not have to charge a penny for this, but as they’re made just for you, we can’t always guarantee that we’ll be able to sell them again.
If you’ve bought something from us outside the UK or Ireland, just get in touch with the store you bought it from – or with our international team if you bought it through them – and they’ll let you know how you can return or exchange it.
And talk to our international team on +44 (0)1793 427 427 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.

The timber in this design is finished with IsoGuard® – our innovative protective formula that helps to stop spills from leaving a stain. It doesn’t take a lot of effort to care for a design that’s treated with IsoGuard®, but we have created a few products that can help. You’ll find all these here.
Looking after Neptune designs is easy – they won’t ask you for a lot. But, whether you’d like advice on everyday cleaning or seasonal and yearly care, you’ll find all our tips, suggestions and recommendations in our care guides.
A closer look at Suffolk
Suffolk is made using a mix of tulipwood and oak: tulipwood for painting, because its fine grain results in a super-smooth finish; and oak where the timber is exposed, because it’s full of variations and character that we love (we’ve written more about oak’s qualities here).
The finish: paint
We take great care over our painted finishes and give every design exactly what it needs to make it robust. The number of base and top coats will vary according to how many that shade requires. And we use a mixture of spray-painted and hand-painted techniques so the finish is as perfect as can be.
The finish: IsoGuard®
IsoGuard® is the treatment oil we developed to make oak surfaces easier to live with. The Seasoned Oak finish on Suffolk’s worktop adds a subtle grey undertone – like the beautiful silvered shades of weathered timber – without masking its texture.
In the making
As with all our furniture, this piece is made using joinery techniques that help to counteract timber’s natural tendency to expand (slightly) and shrink (just a little) as it adjusts to the temperature and humidity of your home.
This may be a very practical piece, but that doesn’t mean it compromises on looks: the shelves rest of adjustable zig-zag timber supports that are as attractive as they are load bearing. And the softly closing drawer sits on runners that are hidden discreetly underneath.
