Where in the world are you?
It’s far nicer (and easier) when things are in your own language.Right now, we speak a few, but we’re learning more all the time…
This is the type of lighting that should be the starting point to your scheme: intelligent and understated wall and down lights that you can use to broadly light a room or to tactfully highlight its most important areas.
Our different take on the recessed spotlight: gone are the harsh beams and flat light, and in their place are softer, cosier areas of dappled light and shade.
Soane is a down light with all the same properties as Coates – gentler, diffused puddles of light rather than a strong glare – but you can mount it on the surface of ceilings or beams.
Just large enough to hold the bulb, Foster is a wall light that’ll fit discreetly into your lighting scheme to highlight features of the room. Of our two architectural wall lights, it’s the more traditional.
Alsop is our contemporary architectural wall light – very small and understated, so it’ll slip almost unnoticed into a room to provide targeted illumination, rather than being a decorative piece.
