From our own, white-glove service for delivering larger pieces in the UK and Ireland, to our courier and international partners, rest assured that we’ve done everything we can to make sure your order gets to you on time and in one, perfect piece.
Delivery’s also entirely free if you’re in the UK and spend over £50 (or €100 in Ireland).
We believe that returns should be easy, which is why we approach them with a ‘no quibble’ mindset. And, you’ll also have 28 days to do so – just in case you need time to mull things over.
When it comes to designs upholstered in a made-to-order fabric or painted in a bespoke colour, there’s also a 20% returns/cancellation fee. We’d love to not have to charge a penny for this, but as they’re made just for you, we can’t always guarantee that we’ll be able to sell them again.
If you’ve bought something from us outside the UK or Ireland, just get in touch with the store you bought it from – or with our international team if you bought it through them – and they’ll let you know how you can return or exchange it.
And talk to our international team on +44 (0)1793 427 427 or at email@example.com.

The colours in our paint palette shown here are a close representation of their true shades, but to see the real thing, we suggest trying our sample paint pots.
We’ve included both oak and chrome Suffolk knobs, so you can choose whichever suits your room best.
This piece is made from natural timber, which will expand (slightly) and shrink (just a little) as it responds to the humidity and temperature in your room. We’ve used joinery techniques that’ll help to counteract this, but small changes in your piece are completely natural and to be expected. Just know that, in the very unlikely event that there’s a significant change to the structure, we’ll be here to help.
We’ve put together a series of guides on how best to take care of your Suffolk coffee table, so you can keep them looking as good as the day you first brought them home.
A closer look at Suffolk
The shape of Suffolk’s legs was taken from our ball-back dining chair, which in turn was inspired by an antique piece. In contrast, the tabletop’s straight-lined, like the glass shelf beneath. Together, they’re a happy balance between old and new.
Where the timber’s painted, we’ve used tulipwood – a hardwood with a fine grain that gives a smooth finish. We use a mixture of spray-painted and hand-painted techniques, so the finish is as perfect and robust as can be. The exposed timber top’s oak, with all of the knots and colour variations that are part of its charm (we’ve written more about oak’s qualities here).
Suffolk’s oak top’s protected with our IsoGuard® timber treatment oil, which guards against dirt and scuffs without masking the texture. The Seasoned Oak finish adds a subtle grey undertone – like the silvery shade of weathered timber.
Where we see it
Suffolk’s unfussy shape goes equally well with our more traditional sofas, like George, or more modern, boxy ones like Long Island. And it works well with our Seasoned Oak dining furniture in an open-plan space.
