The Lamorran bowls are made from dolomite. It’s a type of ceramic that’s incredibly durable, which makes it well-suited to kitchenware because it won’t crack or chip easily. And just like earthenware, it’s porous so needs to be glazed to make it watertight.
The bowls are covered with a glossy white glaze. They’re then wiped down to remove any excess before firing. It’s done by hand to create irregularities in the glaze so all the bowls vary very slightly. It’s what makes Lamorran look crafted rather than just made.
The Lamorran bowls have ridged sides and a light-hearted bobbled rim. As well as feeling lovely to hold, they add interesting texture to your table, kitchen shelves or dresser.
When it comes to smaller items, we don't hang around.
From our own, white-glove service for delivering larger pieces in the UK and Ireland, to our courier and international partners, rest assured that we’ve done everything we can to make sure your order gets to you on time and in one, perfect piece.
Delivery’s also entirely free if you’re in the UK and spend over £50 (or €100 in Ireland).
We believe that returns should be easy, which is why we approach them with a ‘no quibble’ mindset. And, you’ll also have 28 days to do so – just in case you need time to mull things over.
Lamorran can be cleaned in the dishwasher, but we recommend hand-washing with warm water and a mild detergent to avoid watermarks and the build-up of soap.
Just so you know
As Lamorran is finished by hand, each piece will vary slightly.
