Because of its sense of tradition, because of its balanced character (a distinctive grain, but not too knotty) and because it’ll age gracefully. Which leads us on to…
Oak is tough: it’s a dense timber that’ll stand up to knocks. And IsoGuard®, our oil-based treatment, helps protect it from spills without taking away from the natural character. In Northwich, the oak is also finished with a smooth texture.
Northwich is all about the joinery and the material – without any fuss. So, the top has a rounded lip, to contrast with the crisp-edged legs. And the pieces of timber than connect the legs are slotted together with a straightforward but effective notch (known as a partial lap joint). And that’s it for detail.
Delivered to you, safe and sound
From our own, white-glove service for delivering larger pieces in the UK and Ireland, to our courier and international partners, rest assured that we’ve done everything we can to make sure your order gets to you on time and in one, perfect piece.
Delivery’s also entirely free if you’re in the UK and spend over £50 (or €100 in Ireland).
We believe that returns should be easy, which is why we approach them with a ‘no quibble’ mindset. And, you’ll also have 28 days to do so – just in case you need time to mull things over.
When it comes to designs upholstered in a made-to-order fabric or painted in a bespoke colour, there’s also a 20% returns/cancellation fee. We’d love to not have to charge a penny for this, but as they’re made just for you, we can’t always guarantee that we’ll be able to sell them again.
If you’ve bought something from us outside the UK or Ireland, just get in touch with the store you bought it from – or with our international team if you bought it through them – and they’ll let you know how you can return or exchange it.
And talk to our international team on +44 (0)1793 427 427 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
