An impressionist art exhibition

Free Neptune Edgbaston 3 December 09:00 - 31 December 2018 18:00

You might’ve heard of Daisy Sims-Hilditch before – she’s the fine art painter behind many of the pieces in our wall art collection. This December, she’ll be exhibiting a series of her original oil paintings in store, which you’ll be able to stop by and see up-close for yourself, as well as buy to hang in your own home.

Based in London, she creates landscapes, portraits and the occasional still-life in a naturalistic, impressionist style, often en plein air. Capturing the changing light is what she’s known for.

There’s no need to RSVP if you’d like to see Daisy’s work, just pop in anytime from 3rd–31st December.

Need to knows

Parking: To the rear of Neptune Edgbaston is a sizeable car park, with five spaces set aside just for our visitors. Should these be full, the rest of the car park is pay and display, as is the NCP car park just over the road.
Wheelchair access: • Each floor at Neptune Edgbaston is entirely level and spaciously arranged. We also have step-free access into the store. We’ve also added in a lift, which is beautifully decorated and just as much a room as any other in the store.
Prams and little ones: We’d be happy to help with a spot of babysitting while you browse, should an extra pair of hands help. Inside, it’s lovely and spacious so even a double buggy will find its way around.
Four-legged friends: Well-behaved dogs are more than welcome too, and we’ll be sure to have a jar of biscuits on hand. But if you’re the proud owner of four Great Danes, we’d appreciate it if you perhaps left them at home.
