From our own, white-glove service for delivering larger pieces in the UK and Ireland, to our courier and international partners, rest assured that we’ve done everything we can to make sure your order gets to you on time and in one, perfect piece.
Delivery’s also entirely free if you’re in the UK and spend over £50 (or €100 in Ireland).
We believe that returns should be easy, which is why we approach them with a ‘no quibble’ mindset. And, you’ll also have 28 days to do so – just in case you need time to mull things over.
The wires in our stems are tough so you can’t accidentally snap them, so you’ll need something powerful if you want to trim them down. We’ve found long-handled loppers (the ones for pruning shrubs and trees) or wire cutters do the trick.
The wire inside also means you can’t put our stems in water for long or they’ll rust. So if you’re arranging them with real flowers, bend the life-like stems up out of the water.
A closer look at Winter Hellebore
We’ll send you five of our burgundy hellebore sprays as well as two of the hellebores in green and two of our brown eucalyptus stems, ready for you to arrange how you like. If you choose the option with a vase, we’ll also include our Castleford wide, grey bottle vase.
The wide Castleford vase perfectly balances out and holds in place the slightly shorter stems of the hellebores and eucalyptus. Inspired by vintage bottles, it’s a simple and quite contemporary piece, with a subtle grey tinge that suits the moody hues of the flowers.
Tips for arranging
Whenever you’re arranging, we’d always suggest starting with the foliage and then adding in the flowers. Place the stems into the vase (or, if you’d prefer, gather them in your hand first) at an angle so they splay out naturally to the sides, and if any look too stiff, our life-like stems are wired so you can manipulate them into place. Make sure to check your arrangement from all sides as you go along too.
The perfect present
If you’d like to give this bouquet as a present (and you’re not sending it straight to the lucky recipient), then it’s very easy to wrap up prettily. After gathering together your stems and securing them with a piece of twine, take a large square of paper and, placing your bouquet at an angle to the bottom corner, gradually roll it around the stems before finishing with a ribbon bow. Alternatively, simply arrange the stems in the vase and place a large bow around the neck of that.
