From our own, white-glove service for delivering larger pieces in the UK and Ireland, to our courier and international partners, rest assured that we’ve done everything we can to make sure your order gets to you on time and in one, perfect piece.
Delivery’s also entirely free if you’re in the UK and spend over £50 (or €100 in Ireland).
We believe that returns should be easy, which is why we approach them with a ‘no quibble’ mindset. And, you’ll also have 28 days to do so – just in case you need time to mull things over.
Our larger vases are heavy. Half-full of water, even heavier. So we recommend arranging your flowers in situ rather than trying to carry the vase when it’s full.
You want: easy-to-care-for pieces that you don’t need to tiptoe around. We’ve got: easy-to-read-through care guides that give you just that. Right this way
A closer look at Ellingham
Materials and finish
Ellingham’s made from stoneware – a durable type of pottery that’ll stand up to being used more than china or porcelain. We’ve finished it with a glossy glaze of alternating grey and white bands which, in terms of colour, are similar to our Fog and Snow paints.
The stripe design is created using a technique called ‘overglazing’, where the white bands are applied on top of the already fired grey base, and then fired again. By adding water to the white glaze, it runs down to create a more relaxed, layered effect. This finishing is all done by hand, which means each vase is a little bit individual.
How we use it
The narrow neck on this round vase will help hold in those flowers with softer stems – like tulips – or curving branches of blossom, which will splay naturally over the sides. It’s quite petite in size though, so it’s best to select smaller cuttings.
