Linda Bloomfield
Chiswick potter Linda Bloomfield designs and makes ceramic art and tableware from her very own garden studio. With a formidable background in Engineering Science to underpin her unique ceramic expertise, Linda makes each glaze herself. And has conducted countless glaze experiments to perfect her craft.
‘The dimples and throwing lines are a record of my hands touching the clay. Pottery can form a powerful connection between the user and the maker – and pieces can last for hundreds, if not thousands, of years.’ says Linda.
Pouring bowls
Linda’s exclusively commissioned bowls have a dark band of exclusive Thames glaze at their base, refined from mud collected on Chiswick Eyott. While the glazed interiors are ‘river’ shades of a rich blue-green Mallard, delicate Willow and ethereal Dawn pink.
Only available in the UK and Ireland.
