As a vase
Use the Castleford bud bottle on a bedside table or bathroom washstand, or dot several down your dining table as an easy centrepiece. With a narrow neck it’s perfect for showing off just one twig or leaf or a few small flowers.
As an ornament
Castleford looks as good empty as when holding flowers. So don’t hide it away. Display a bud bottle with one of the small Castleford bottles on a narrow mantelpiece, bookshelf or window sill.
The making process
This vase is hand blown, so no two are exactly alike. One might be just a touch smaller or larger than another; you might see a tiny air bubble trapped in the glass; or a swirl where it expanded as it was blown. These are all part of the personality of something made by hand.
