Our Isla velvet's cotton pile gives it the same luxurious softness as a traditional silk velvet. You can use it anywhere from an everyday family sofa to a pair of curtains, where the subtle sheen and jewel-like colours will bring a sense of luxury. Kingfisher’s vivid blue shade reflects the influence of British wildlife on this collection.

  • Backing is woven from cotton and polyester for structure and strength.
  • High Martindale score makes it suitable for upholstery, window dressings and cushions.
 

Materials

Isla’s 100% cotton pile gives it a soft handle and fine quality. Because cotton is a natural fibre, the velvet continues to evolve once it’s in your home. It’ll take on a more relaxed appearance over time - as well as some characterful impressions - which is part of the charm of this timeless material.  

    Care guide

    • Gently brush the fabric with a dry sponge or vacuum with an upholstery attachment.
    • We recommend professional dry cleaning for a deeper clean.
     

    Delivery

    • If your order is over £150 (or €250 in Ireland), your delivery will be free.  
    • For orders under £150 (or €250 in Ireland), it’s £6.95 (or €30 in Ireland).
    • If your order is available now for UK mainland delivery, we'll deliver it within 5-10 working days. Otherwise, it’ll arrive in the estimated time frame stated above and at checkout. 
    • Furniture orders to mainland UK or Northern Ireland will arrive via our white glove service. We’ll unbox and position your items, assemble anything that’s needed and take away the packaging for recycling. 
    • If you’re ordering outside mainland UK or Northern Ireland, items will be sent through our international delivery partners.

    Returns

    • You can return most items within 28 days of delivery, but you may be charged for a courier or collection service.
    • If you cancel your order within 24 hours, you will be fully refunded
    • You are unable to amend, cancel or return made to order and painted to order designs
