Neptune kitchen showrooms near Stowmarket

Stowmarket sits on the River Gipping roughly halfway between Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich, which is a large part of why it has grown the way it has. It is a town of older streets around the market, postwar family housing and large new estates on the western edge, each deserving a kitchen to match. Every Neptune kitchen is made by hand from solid timber, built to last a lifetime.

Your nearest Neptune kitchen showrooms

Our three closest kitchen showrooms to Stowmarket are Neptune Bury St Edmunds, 13 miles away on St Andrews Street South, with Neptune Colchester 22 miles away and Neptune Cambridge 39 miles away. Bury St Edmunds is an easy drive along the A14 and has parking on site. Each showroom is home to a team of expert kitchen designers, with full displays of our cabinetry collections, paint finishes and hardware to explore in person. There is no better way to begin your kitchen journey than to step inside a Neptune kitchen showroom and see the quality for yourself.

Kitchens for Stowmarket homes

Stowmarket sits where the Gipping valley, the main line and the A14 all run through together, and it is still growing there. Twentieth-century housing accounts for most of the town by volume, but the historic core around the market has held on to its listed buildings and the timber-framed and brick frontages that go with them. Behind that core sits post-war family housing, and the newest building is concentrated on the western side at Cedars Park, Chilton Leys and Aspen Grange. The villages at Combs, Onehouse and Stowupland sit outside all of it.

What works in a listed frontage on the market may not work in a new house on the western edge. In the older streets and the postwar houses behind them the problem is storage, and Suffolk's pared-back Shaker cabinetry is built for exactly that. In a new-build open-plan room the problem is the reverse, too few usable walls to work with, and Borough's freestanding pieces solve it without pretending the room is something it is not. Out in the villages, Chichester's Georgian detail suits the older cottages at Combs and Onehouse, while Henley's oak and painted timber carries the farmhouses.

Whatever your home, our designers take the time to understand your space, your architecture and the way you live, creating bespoke kitchens in Stowmarket and the Gipping valley villages around it.

Why choose Neptune for your Stowmarket kitchen

Every Neptune kitchen is made from sustainably sourced solid timber. No MDF, no chipboard. Just solid oak, tulipwood and hardwood ply, constructed using traditional mortise-and-tenon joints and dovetail drawers that are built to last not just years, but generations.

That commitment to quality is part of what we call our 100-year mindset: making kitchens designed to outlast trends, refurbishments and generations of family life. It's why we can offer a lifetime guarantee on every kitchen we fit through our approved installation teams. Should any cabinet warp or crack from natural wood movement, we will repair or replace it. It's a promise we've made with confidence since John Sims-Hilditch and Giles Redman founded Neptune in 1996.

Our designers bring that same care to every project. Rated 4.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot, with over 10,000 reviews, Neptune is consistently rated among the UK's highest-rated kitchen brands, not because we simply deliver a product, but because we guide you through every stage of the process, from your first free consultation to the final fitting.
