Attaching your headboard
You can use either Charlie’s French cleat to attach it to the wall, or the fixing at the bottom to fit it onto your bed base. Or both, if you want it to be well and truly secure. The French cleat, which is simply two pieces of timber (one for the wall and one on the headboard) that slot together, is also deep enough that you can hang Charlie over skirting and not need to cut out a space for it.
Doing the right thing
Not only is this biodegradable fabric made in a carbon neutral weaving mill, our supplier also ensures that all parts of the flax plant are used during production. The shives (fragments that break off inside the plant stems during flax extraction) are used for animal bedding or chipboard, while the long and highest-quality short fibres are used for textiles like our Chloe linen. The fabric also meets OEKO-TEX standard 100, a label exclusively applied to textiles that have been tested and found free of harmful substances.
