Scented candles

Scented candles are best placed where fragrance can gently circulate without feeling overpowering. Living rooms, hallways and bedrooms suit luxury scented candles well, creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Small scented candles work nicely on shelves or bedside tables, while large scented candles are better suited to dining tables, sideboards or open living spaces where the scent can disperse evenly.

Neptune’s luxury scented candles have a burn time of approximately 35 to 60 hours, depending on the size. Small scented candles sit at the lower end of this range, while large scented candles are designed to burn for longer. For the best performance and fragrance, allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface on each burn and trim the wick regularly.

Place your scented candle on a heat-resistant surface away from draughts before lighting. On the first burn, allow the wax to melt fully across the top to support an even flame and consistent scent. Trim the wick to around 5mm before each use. This care helps both small scented candles and large scented candles perform at their best.

Scented candles are most effective when styled simply. Group luxury scented candles in varying heights to add depth, or let a single large scented candle stand alone as a quiet focal point. Small scented candles can be layered among books or decorative objects. Natural materials such as wood, stone or glass help the candlelight and fragrance feel relaxed and unforced.
