Silver Birch is a pale grey with a creamy warmth – you could call it a classic oatmeal shade. It’s one to look at alongside Shingle, which is slightly greyer, and Salt, which is paler, if you’re after a timeless neutral. Silver Birch pairs seamlessly with Driftwood if you’re after a neutral and subtle contrast between walls and painted furniture.

How to use - primer

Great paintwork starts with a great primer. Ours works as a base coat or wood primer with all our paints - matt emulsion and eggshell. Use it to prep surfaces and it’ll make the end result much better, with a smooth, long lasting finish.

  • Clean brushes with warm water and soap.  
  • When painting a space where humidity and temperatures fluctuate, drying times may be longer.  
  • We recommend purchasing as much paint as you need in one go so it’s from the same batch and keep some spare for touch-ups.  
  • Colours may vary slightly with each pot – once open, stir thoroughly to ensure the paint is well mixed.  
  • Recycle the metal tin and plastic handle separately at home.

Smaller parcel deliveries:

  • Next working day delivery: £9.95, available on parcel deliveries to the UK only. Order before 1pm on a working day, no minimum spend.
  • Free standard delivery: on orders over £150 (€250 in Ireland).

Standard parcel deliveries to mainland UK for in-stock items will arrive within 5 days via our approved couriers.

Larger furniture deliveries:
