Where we see it
Imogen’s delicate texture works best for things you don’t use every day, such as cushions or an occasional chair. It’s good for curtains too, if you want a relaxed, slightly crumpled look.
The textile
100% linen. Although it has some weight to it, this is a fine linen that’s naturally suited to the warmer months of the year, as it’s breathable and cool to the touch.
A note on slubs
Joining natural fibres together creates raised parts in the thread, known as slubs. They’re not flaws, just part of the fabric’s character.
How it feels
Soft and rumpled with a slightly fluffy texture. Look closely at Imogen and you’ll see a mix of thicker and finer threads, with gaps in between that give it a light, airy feel.
The colour
Two soft colours complement Imogen’s vintage feel. This is Oyster Pink, a blush shade that’s a warmer alternative to neutrals, but doesn’t shout ‘pink’, so you can easily use it in place of beige or cream.
