Materials and finish

This base is made from incredibly strong steel and concrete. To help protect from rusting or tarnishing, the steel is powder coated, with a black pigment and satin finish. The sandy, pale-toned concrete, meanwhile, complements the canvas we use for our parasol canopies and seat cushions.

Using the base

A base is an essential, whether your parasol will stand in the centre a dining table (the only exception is our Cayton table) or on its own. If the former, we also suggest a parasol lock to be extra secure; if the latter, it’s just worth noting that, without the table, it may be a little less stable.
